Pioneer Post

Hello everyone, my name is britMonster and I am going to be writing a blog about my unfortunate mishaps on the road. I tend to have a lot of run-ins with people that cannot drive.

To start my blog, I suppose I should talk about myself, my driving history and my car. I just turned 20 and I am going to school to be a Geologist. I have a four cylinder 2009 Hyundai Accent that is bluish-grey. His name is Jeffery. I have to manually lock and unlock the doors and I have to manually roll down the windows. Other than that, he is perfect. Jeffery is not my first car, but my second. My first car was Becca Grey, I crashed her twice. The first time into an empty field, ripping out the entire underside of my car, the second time was into my neighbours mailbox, destroying my windshield. That was when I was 17. Now that you know a bit about me and my car, here is my first story.

It was about 8 at night and we were taking the back road home from the mall. It was extremely dark even with my brights on, now mind you this was one of those 'holy f**k a deer is going to jump out and molest my car' roads. Those were Savi's words. It was so dark, I could not see the speed signs and did not know how fast I should be going, so I settled with a nice 40 mph. The giant truck behind me, did not approve of this speed and decided to shine his brites right into my rear-view mirror. At this point I kept going the speed I had been, perhaps a little slower, because I could not see. Then, this a-hole goes around me, on a two lane road with no passing, and almost clips the front of my car. So I do what any reasonable driver would do and honk. This person then slams on their breaks, and if I did not have quick reflexes, I would have hit them. They then turn off their truck and start getting out. At this point, Savi is yelling for me to back up, I obliged. Another car came around the corner and the person got back in their truck and sped away, the road litterally smoked from the rubber on the pavement. Savi and I sat still for a moment trying to catch our breaths and then drove home quickly.

Off to map another road
